I like the ability to scroll the widget for the latest world, national, and local news. I like the ability to access one news item from multiple sources within the application. SUGGESTION: The ability to remove pictures on widgets would allow for more of the headlines to be visible on the widget. Therefore, those with poor vision can view more of the headline with font size and zoom features maximized.

A great news app based on your interests and daily activities. Currently, as of Nov 2024, the pop up ads have become unbearable. I waste more time trying to swipe away or tap tiny a X. Google News was amazing for a great number of years. Now I'm uninstalling the a because it has become a waste of valuable monthly data and memory space on my phone.

Everything about this app is broken and 90% of it is because of ads. If I open an article and read it, that article will continue to show up like it's new for days. If I open an article and (usually due to ads) can't finish it or it backs out on its own it disappears and I have to search for it based on what I remember of the headline. Often an article will just turn black or white or stop scrolling in the middle. When none of that happens you still have to try to read through overlapping ads.
