The Ambient Mode on Google TV is broken. It aggressively crops Google Photos, cutting off people's heads. The app fails to connect to the TV ('Device unavailable'), and it won't save album selections. Now, it also forces 'Portrait Pairs'โ€”displaying two vertical photos side-by-side instead of one at a time. It looks terrible and there's no way to disable it. Stop ruining basic features and forcing unwanted UI changes!
