Crashes whenever I try to open an email. App is useless. Update: Google's troubleshooting page did nothing. App still crashes. Samsung Galaxy S7. Update 2: I found the problem. It turns out, if you ever uninstall Chrome, half your phone's apps stop working completely. Which really makes me wonder what Google is doing in my phone. The one star review is staying. That's super shady.

Love using Gmail... ...But, there is an issue. Ok, so, I don't know what happened, but now I can no longer use Gmail to do 2 step verificatio. Like, the "use your phone to log in" option. It will send a notification to my phone, but tapping it takes me to the "aw snap this request could not be completed, that's all we know" page. I don't know what happened or what changed, but it was working fine up until a recent update. Hopefully this gets resolved as soon as possible.

The app used to work great until I suddenly quit getting notifications. Nothing on my end was changed, and they just quit working. It's very annoying. Judging by the numerous complaints that are similar on here, I am not the only one. Update: The information they gave me below worked after a few attempts. I'm still not sure why an update changed my settings, but my problem did get fixed.
