Ever since they changed to the new style of meet calls, I can't make outgoing calls, but incoming calls work fine. I can clear app data and cache and get the old one back for one call and that still works. Whatever they did to meet, it's not working for me. A video calling app that doesn't make calls is pretty useless. Edit: the supplied help article isn't relevant to my issue, and I've been trying to get help from the help and feedback forum, they've tried to help but not working yet.

Ive been a user from the beginning(Hangouts days), and Duo was great. It was bare bones, basic. I could get on with my young son and draw, do math, I could leave messages. Now all of the things that made the app good are no longer available. They've gone corporate, trying to appeal to businesses now, using this platform that was held up by regular people. Ill be looking for another platform.

I have been faithful user for years now. Recently, it has gotten very difficult to stay loyal. First, I used to be able to call with my number, but now it can also use my email. So now there are two ways people call me instead of having both in a single call line if that makes sense. This also meant other people on the app could be called through ways. Second, the app does not ring every single time a call is being made to me. It only let's me know when I open the app.
