Every G app I have used for YEARS have the same problems. Files vanish, NOTHING backs up/syncs at all. Angry. My level of IT knowledge is expert/advanced. I KNOW how to clear the cache and/or data for every app. Developer options enabled on my phone as well. I am tired of paying for storage that only works if you have a laptop. (I don't right now). Paying almost forty bucks monthly for subpar services has gotten old. Rant over.

This app sucks for a cloud storage app. It doesn't allow you to look up the folder properties (size, number of folders, or number of files in a folder), and it doesn't allow you to copy a folder from one location to another. These are basic features that any cloud storage app should have. Google's competitor Mega has both. That Google doesn't have either in 2025 is really backwards.

App is great... until you use it a lot. As soon as you get storage use up to 80% or so it constantly badgers you to buy more, even when you have tons of space left. Annoying and cloying, bullying you to buy space you don't need. But stops your workflow constantly asking to upgrade on everything connected - email, files, pictures, etc. Every Google app now crawls because of popups to buy space - and you can't dismiss them for more than a single time and they come back.
