Pro tips:
• Gesture cursor control: Slide your finger across the space bar to move the cursor

Ratings and reviews

So.... not gonna lie, Gboard is pretty nice. Nice stickers, cool emojis, even the translation, but there's one thing that's been a MASSIVE problem to me. I am attending online classes and whenever I have to type in chat (Yes, I really have to), the keyboard randomly stops and disappears. Same for the other apps. Whatever I do, it's always laggy. I would give Gboard five stars..... if they fixed the problem.

I like it and use it, but. lately it's been trying to second guess me. When I press the comma, I intend to see a comma. Not a period. the period key is on the opposite side of the spacebar. It's not like I got confused. And don't get me started on the suggested words at the top. I've sometimes had to spell out the whole word before I get what I want. And if I do, what's the point of suggesting it? If it's going to guess to try and make it easier for me, it had better learn grammar.

Overall I am a pretty big fan of Gboard over the default Samsung keyboard. I do find it frustrating that the built-in dictation has seemingly no way to correct interpretations of spoken names? I have tried entering things into the personal dictionary, sending feedback, all sorts of things to get corrections made to how people's names are actually taken down when spoken. Most of the time I just stop dictating and have to type a name if I know it's going to get it wrong.
