Ratings and reviews

Years ago it was ok. Then it started cutting off before you were finished talking. When my wife speaks Japanese, it REPLIES IN JAPANESE. It wouldn't pick up our voices but will translate everything on the TV when the volume is so low we can't hear it. Now with the last update, it's become unusable. Conversation mode doesn't work at all. And that new american female voice is unintelligible. She even adds in words that we didn't say. I would go back Microsoft but there's no conversion mode.

Edit: I'm still getting notifications to practice when clearly I don't have it.* Decide whether you want me to have access to Practice Mode or not because you've made it available twice and pulled them off the same. Either I should have it or not, just decide which. I don't want to invest time on an app feature that could be pulled off just like that.

When I try to take a photo and translate a text on it, Translate requires that I allow Google Play to access Microphone, Phone, Body Sensors and SMS. What? Really? Is not it ridiculous? Instant translation works, but it is garbage. Also when I input Japanese characters by hand the app does not give me a second to look at the text, but the characters are quite complex and need a couple of looks to finish. Translate simply incorrectly recognizes the half drawn character and I have to start again.
