I do not know what has changed with this app in the last 2 weeks but it is so choppy, it is so slow, and the voice to text is horrendous. it is also happening to my children's Android phones. there's no update for the app. it has just deteriorated in the last 2 weeks. I'm going back to the Samsung messages UPDATE: Still issues. constantly fails texts change positions so I'm missing texts. All of a sudden can only pin 3 people randomly. so absurd

I like the app overall. One thing I can think of that I don't like is why can't we personalize each contact with different backgrounds, text colors and such. we can change the colors to ugly basic colors for RCS chats but that's it. I love personalization and this app just doesn't have that. Unfortunately, that's why I gave it a 3 star.

I have loved this app for years until the latest update. I have the same issue someone recently mentioned in their review. In a group chat, they there is one person when they send a photo, it gets sent to me separately, not in the group chat, and the media doesn't download. I get the spinning circle with an X in the middle and says unavailable. I've tried all the suggestions on how to troubleshoot and nothing helps.
