Car Bluetooth Connection needs a fix. I use meets all the time and when I get a call on the road the app doesn't connect with the car Bluetooth and you need to switch manually to the phone speaker which is not possible if you are driving. I have Android Auto on the car and it works well with the music App and Maps to automatically load the audio. RE: Thanks for the link but it doesn't cover car Bluetooth. Feel free to test with Android Auto to fix the issue.

Very disappointed with Google Meet lately. When I make a call, the other person often doesn’t receive any notification or incoming call alert. Also, when I try to make an audio call, it automatically starts as a video call. These issues are making the app frustrating to use. The overall app performance has also become very poor compared to before. Please fix these basic calling and notification issues and improve the app’s stability and performance.

Ever since they changed to the new style of meet calls, I can't make outgoing calls, but incoming calls work fine. I can clear app data and cache and get the old one back for one call and that still works. Whatever they did to meet, it's not working for me. A video calling app that doesn't make calls is pretty useless. Edit: the supplied help article isn't relevant to my issue, and I've been trying to get help from the help and feedback forum, they've tried to help but not working yet.
