Ratings and reviews

The app does what it supposed to do, but just like any Google product, it is not stable. In the midst of reading the article, it will often 'refresh' bringing you back to the main page, and sometimes you won't find the still reading article bad. If that's not enough, it crashes pretty damn frequently. Update: i award this the most annoying app to use.

More work is required for the widget. Prefer to be able to scroll through the headlines easily than having to do so one at a time. Having to see weather details (like precipitation chance at a certain hour) on another platform is a step backwards from integration. The news and weather app was better. Edit: I am unable to stop the news which I am not interested in. I clicked see fewer of a particular topic for at least 5 different articles of that topic but I continue to see it. In the past the topics could be easily edited, but I do not see it anymore. This is frustrating as I do not want to see those "news for you".

Sorting preferences - This app needs the ability to sort by release date. I searched one topic and I want to see the lastest. Its November and I'm seeing articles from May at the start. I had to scroll through May, July, August in random placing. I'd like newest first not 5 or 10 places down. With how tech savy Google is they at least be able to do that.
