It continually minimizes after I click to get directions, so frustrating. It will not stay full screen since the last update. UPDATE: the advice offered by developer didn't work. HOWEVER, I found a fix by de-selecting the picture in picture option in settings and the problem is solved. I don't get to use pip, but that is better than the alternative.

This update has seriously degraded the quality of this app. It used to be that when a label was actively shown on a map and the map was clicked, the top and bottom gutters would roll away, giving full screen to the map. This no longer works. The top and bottom gutters now occupy valuable realestate all the time, with no apparent way to get rid of them. Also, it now requires an extra click in order to view the list of labels. Google is annoying like usual, and putting out frustrating updates.

offline maps do not work! Thank you for your response. I solved the problem by myself. I know how to download offline maps in your app. Maybe you, guys, are not aware of the fact that every time after you push an update of the app, all custom settings revert back to default, including offline maps. So, it would be very nice of you to add some pop-up message or something saying - "Hi, we did update. Please check your settings and re-download offline maps. We are sorry for any inconvenience."
