Ratings and reviews

App used to have a keyboard for command entry. It no longer does. I'm hearing impaired, so voice commands are problematic. I really would appreciate having the ability to type commands again. Also, because only voice commands, and my hearing issues, it rarely understands what I'm saying. *a year later and this is still an issue. seriously, a keyboard option for us with hearing issues. come on. 7-25-25

Google assistant seems far more interested in telling me things it can do that I do not find useful (news, etc.) Than what is useful (light controls, casting, other home controls). edit after more years. an example of the above conolaint: I asked the tempurature outside. I'm asking a quick question the response should be 63 degrees and 2 seconds. I've stopped using it mostly because it's not more efficient than other options. lol at googles unrelated response to this review.

I have a pair of nest mini speakers set up as a stereo pair. They have been working for months. Now, recently, the right channel speaker "Is not connected. Check your wifi". There is nothing wrong with my wifi, nothing has changed for years. The only thing that has changed is updates to this app. Come on, Google, you've got smart people working for you. Fix this app. Please.
