Just out of curiosity, I wonder if Verizon's PTT feature functions without issue on the Kyocera rugged flip phones that Verizon offers? No, it's NOT a "smartphone" but if PTT over a 4G connection is considered a "must have" feature for business users, paired up with a simple reliable PHONE connection that flip phones have, for the most part, been well known for over a very lengthy period of time, wouldn't it be a more intelligent business decision to just go that route? cont.

The only thing positive about this app I can say is that the Android version works better than the iOS version.. but if you're looking for something that's reliable (and that doesn't mean reliably a PIA), look elsewhere. It costs $$$ (monthly subscription). Update of the OS, and the App leave it broken more often than not. If you manage an enterprise deployment, it'll be nothing but a time sync. If you expect it to work in an emergency -- you're probably going to be SOL (it uses data -- and a server). Depending on what your needs are, there's probably several absolutely free apps which will satisfy you... try them first. Besides -- you've got a phone in your hand... do you really need Push-to-Talk at all???

08/13/22 Update: STILL doesn't work almost 3 months later. Literally haven't been able to use push to talk ONCE during this time. 6/26/22 Doesn't work. Keeps saying I'm offline in my status bar. It also won't even let me open the app. Just says it's contacting the server and never moves past that point. It's doing the same thing with my husband's. Update: A week later and it STILL does not work at all. I emailed the app creators and have not heard a single thing back.
