Glitchy! I can't assign notification tones to specific people or a different notification tone for a separate app. Then the pictures of my contact sometimes appears, then another time, it's a letter. Get it together! My phone is only 2 years old and I was able to do it on another app. And SEVERAL times when I type a message to someone, the message repeats itself after I send it, so I have to delete what I already sent, before i can answer... why does that happen pretty consistently?

Update: 6/9/24 This app has been acting strangely in terms of notification sounds. The notification only sounds when the app is displayed on screen. If on home screen there is no sound. I have tried everything but can't stop this intermittent behavior. 2nd Edit: We did as you suggested. I think that fixed it. Thank you for your input. Will let you know if there are any further issues.

After the most recent update, my group text messages are not downloading. I am really frustrated. Thank you for your response. I have already cleared the cache once, I will try again. I uninstalled the update, it still wasn't working. I reinstalled the update. I was able to finally successfully send a text, but my group texts are still not coming through/downloading. I thought maybe it was related to SMS/MMS/RCS changes. It seemed worse when the RCS was on, so I turned that off.
