Ever since they changed to the new style of meet calls, I can't make outgoing calls, but incoming calls work fine. I can clear app data and cache and get the old one back for one call and that still works. Whatever they did to meet, it's not working for me. A video calling app that doesn't make calls is pretty useless. Edit: the supplied help article isn't relevant to my issue, and I've been trying to get help from the help and feedback forum, they've tried to help but not working yet.

Audio continues to be an issue. When I initiate a call, the audio is much too low and volume settings are maxed out. But when someone else calls me, the audio is fine without me making any changes. This has been an issue for about a month. This is really annoying as I have to make a call and then hang up just so the person I'm calling is notified to call me. Follow up ... The suggested "fixes" do not help. I've cleared cache, cleared storage, uninstalled and reinstalled, and nothing works.

While the video calls are generally good, all of the messaging features are gone. I can no longer send notes, and even video messages are nowhere to be found. I've been using Duo/Meet to communicate with family for years. Without the messaging options, especially text notes, this app has lost half of the functions that I use. I will be looking for an alternative because this app no longer serves my purpose.
